Control of spin waves by spatially modulated strain

چکیده
We suggest using spatially modulated strain for control of a spin wave propagating inside bulk magnet. The modulation with the vector $q=2k$, by virtue magnetoelasticity, mixes waves vectors near $k$ and $-k$. This leads to lifting degeneracy symmetric antisymmetric eigenstate combinations these waves. resulting picture reminds one tunneling particle in double-well potential. Here, moving being subjected $2k$-lattice after some time alters its propagation direction opposite one, so on. effect can be utilized spin-wave that useful spintronic magnonic applications. may include delay line element, filtering, waveguide
